Yellow Fusion

Yellow Fusion

Propogation : Calatheas can be propagated by dividing the rhizome during spring or summer. The plant shoud be of a good size before taking the cutting.

Locations :Calatheas are known to be temperamental. But, with the right amount of water and sunlight they can be grown indoors very easily. Keep your Calathea near a window or in your shaded or north facing balcony where it receives sufficient indirect light. Well-lit corners in offices, lobbies, cubicles, or meeting rooms are all great locations.

Light Requirements :Calatheas prefer bright indirect sunlight, but they tend to burn and eventually die in direct sunlight.

Repotting : Repot your Yellow Fusion in a compost rich soil in a larger pot annually or when it outgrows its current pot. Keep the soil moist but never soggy and mist regularly to amintain moisture in summer months and avoid leaf burn.

Fertilizer/ feed for the plant:  Feed the Yellow Fusion a rich compost and a well-balanced water-soluble fertilizer, every 15 to 20 days, in its growing months of spring and early summer when its sprouting new leaves.

A darling of the tropical rain forests, the Calathea Yellow Fusion is absolutely beautiful and extremely well-suited for medium-lit indoor spaces. The lance-shaped leaves have beautiful variegation in lime green and soft yellow.
