Ninja
Alocasia Ninja is a jewel alocasia and will never grow tall, but with the right care, it will develop into a compact and full-bodied table-top indoor plant! Expect your alocasia to proliferate during the warmer months. These fast-growing houseplants can push out new leaves almost weekly when actively growing.
Alocasia ‘Ninja’ looks similar to Alocasia Reginula ‘Black Velvet’. But the leaves will become broader and rounder as it matures. When compared to the Black velvet, the Alocasia ‘Ninja’ has thicker leaves that appear rounder, and the leaf edge has twin stripes.
Alocasia plants have arrowhead-shaped leaves and are beautiful tropical plants. These lovely flowers should be placed in a warm, bright location of your home. Alocasia Black Ninja plants, which are native to the tropical areas of the South Pacific Islands, particularly the Philippines, benefit from the added humidity that a kitchen or bathroom may provide.
Make sure your Alocasia gets plenty of water and that the soil is evenly saturated. Water your plant whenever the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch, and ensure sure some water flows through the drainage holes in the pot. Wet feet are not good for Alocasias, as they are for many other plants. Your plant should not be overwatered. During its growing stage, feed it a balanced fertilizer at half intensity every two weeks. This is the ulitmate Alocasia for collectors!
To avoid damp circumstances, Alocasia Black Velvet requires coarse, well-draining soil and cautious watering. It prefers 60-75 percent humidity, temperatures between 59 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit (15 and 27 degrees Celsius), and moderate indirect light. Moreover, during the growing season, fertilize lightly every 4 weeks and repot only as needed.
