Dragon Scale

Dragon Scale

The Alocasia Dragon Scale is a unique-looking compact plant. It has a very distinct textured topside that is accompanied by a dark purple vein that runs on the underside of the leaves. This plant is very fun to grow and watch as it matures.

After one to two weeks, you should see tiny roots sprouting from the corms. Eventually, a new stem will emerge from the top! Once you have a little plant growing, you can plant it in potting mix, water it, and start treating it like a normal Dragon Scale Alocasia.

Alocasia Dragon Scale prefers light, open soil that is kept moist but dries a bit between waterings. It likes temperatures of 55-80°F (13-27°C), humidity of 60-80%, and bright indirect light or dappled shade. The plant needs very little fertilizer and has average susceptibility to pests and disease.

Dragon Scale

Dragon scale Alocasia requires regular watering and soil should not be allowed to dry out. That being said, it is more tolerant of missing the occasional watering than some other varieties of Alocasia. Allow the top 1 to 2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings and then water thoroughly.

How to care Dragon scale Alocasia ?

2.Keep the soil slightly moist
