The Alocasia cuprea contains stiff red, green or purple leaves that have a metallic appearance. Its red-like leaves with dark almost black markings look fabulous and dramatic. With the surface of its leaves having a metallic sheen and the undersides a red glow.
The plant thrives in bright, indirect light. The Alocasia cuprea requires moderate amounts of water for it to grow well. Its root system is very sensitive, so lukewarm water should be used to water the plant.
